What an amazing first few weeks of the Autumn term, we are now settled and very much enjoying being part of the school, nestled in class one with the most amazing teachers and peers....what more could we ask for! Children are happy and confident, independence is shining through and exploring the new outdoor eyfs areas have been a great hit! The lovely ladies in the early years foundation stage class at Calstock Primary School are looking to revamp their outdoor area ready for the return in September.
We have big ideas to help the little ones explore and develop as put of their continuous provision. After many discussions with the children they have come up with a few ideas that they would love to see in their garden. One of them being a bigger and better mud kitchen, our current mud kitchen has seen many children and plenty of mud pies and has now seen better days!
Please if you could help us we would be eternally grateful as would the children!
We are looking for donations of (da da da) ...
* Wood (ok for outdoor use) the longer the lengths the better
* Pots and pans, whisks, wooden spoons, sieves, large sweet jars, herbs and water butts
* Metal bowls
* A Belfast sink
* Tarpaulin and rope
* Emulsion - light colours, especially looking for sage green 😁
