This inspiring project connects people with nature and their local environment 🤝 supporting recovery while improving the natural landscape for future generations 🌿

Mae'r prosiect ysbrydoledig hwn yn cysylltu pobl â natur a'u hamgylchedd lleol 🤝 gan gefnogi eu hadferiad wrth wella'r dirwedd naturiol ar gyfer cenedlaethau'r dyfodol 🌿

Mae'r bobl wych hyn wedi ymgymryd â hyfforddiant bioamrywiaeth, gan ddyfnhau eu dealltwriaeth o ecosystemau coetiroedd, cadwraeth a rheoli tir cynaliadwy i helpu i ddiogelu a gwella'r coetir hardd hwn.

Awyr las, tywod euraidd, a dolydd morwellt gwyrdd o dan y tonnau.

Aeth Llyr Gruffydd, Gweinidog y Cabinet dros Wydnwch Gwledig a Chynaliadwyedd, i draeth Porthdinllaen yng Ngogledd Cymru i gwrdd â thîm Project Seagrass a gweld eu gwaith adfer ar waith.

Ochr yn ochr â phartneriaid fel Project Seagrass, WWF Cymru, North Wales Wildlife Trust a'r Marine Conservation Society, a gyda ymroddiad gwirfoddolwyr, mae'r prosiect hwn yn helpu i ddiogelu ac adfer cynefinoedd cefnforol gwerthfawr Cymru, gan gyflawni'r Cynllun Gweithredu Môrwellt Cenedlaethol i roi'r cyfle gorau i ecosystemau morol adfer.

Mae dolydd morwellt hefyd yn chwarae rhan bwysig fel cynefinoedd 'carbon glas', gan ddal a storio carbon, gan helpu i fynd i'r afael â newid yn yr hinsawdd wrth gefnogi bywyd morol ffyniannus.

Mae hyn yn rhan o'n Cynllun Gweithredu Hinsawdd a Natur, gan weithio gyda'n gilydd i ymateb i un argyfwng cysylltiedig a diogelu'r lleoedd sy'n bwysig.

Blue skies, golden sands, and green seagrass meadows beneath the waves.

Llyr Gruffydd, the Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability, headed to Porthdinllaen beach in North Wales to meet the team at Project Seagrass and see their restoration work in action.

Alongside partners like Project Seagrass, WWF Cymru, North Wales Wildlife Trust and the Marine Conservation Society and with the dedication of volunteers, this project is helping protect and restore Wales' precious ocean habitats, delivering the National Seagrass Action Plan to give marine ecosystems the best chance to recover.

Seagrass meadows also play an important role as 'blue carbon' habitats, capturing and storing carbon, helping tackle climate change while supporting thriving marine life.

This is part of our Climate and Nature Action Plan, working together to respond to one connected emergency and protect the places that matter.

Following a challenging summer of dry weather and wildfires, Llyr Gruffydd outlines the steps being taken to strengthen resilience for the future.

Llifogydd. Tanau gwyllt. Sychder. Colli natur. Pwysau ar fwyd, iechyd, dŵr, cartrefi a’n heconomi. Dyma arwyddion gweledol bod angen i ni wneud pethau’n wahanol.

Floods. Wildfires. Drought. Nature loss. Pressure on food, health, water, homes and our economy. These are visible signs we need to do things differently.

Mae gwaith wedi dechrau ar Gynllun Gweithredu Hinsawdd a Natur cyntaf Cymru. Bydd y cynllun yn llunio llwybr ymarferol tuag at ein uchelgais o fod yn net sero erbyn 2040 ac adfer natur yn sylweddol erbyn 2050.

Work has begun on Wales’s first Climate and Nature Action Plan. The plan will chart a practical pathway towards our ambition of net zero by 2040 and a substantive nature recovery by 2050.

Wedi’i gadeirio gan Weinidog y Cabinet, Llyr Gruffydd, bydd yn dod ag arbenigwyr ynghyd i rannu syniadau, herio’r ffordd o feddwl a chanolbwyntio ar gyflawni.

Chaired by Cabinet Minister Llyr Gruffydd, it will bring sectors and experts together to share ideas, challenge thinking and focus on delivery.

Gan weithio gyda chymunedau a phartneriaid i lunio camau gweithredu sy’n mynd i’r afael â’r achosion sylfaenol, er mwyn helpu Cymru i ddatblygu’n gynaliadwy a sicrhau newid teg.

Working with communities and partners to shape actions that address the root causes, to help Wales develop sustainably and bring about a just transition.

Creu Cymru gryfach, wyrddach a thecach drwy ddefnyddio ein hadnoddau naturiol yn ddoeth i gefnogi swyddi gwyrdd, cynnig cyfleoedd lleol a gwneud ein cymunedau’n fwy gwydn.

Delivering a stronger, greener, fairer Wales using our natural resources wisely to support green jobs, provide local opportunities, and make our communities more resilient.
