Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park

Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park This is the official page for The Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park and is updated and maintained by the training team at CTC Frimley.

The Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Frimley Park in Surrey trains adult volunteers in the Army Cadet Force and the schools-based Combined Cadet Force (Army), helping new recruits understand the cadet movement's ethos and teaching them to train their cadets effectively and safely. At CTC Frimley Park we also run the Master Cadet Course - and host the annual Champion Cadet Competition to find the best A

rmy Cadet in the UK. Additionally we are home to numerous conferences and specialist briefings each year. Dates for courses, meetings and conferences can be found on Westminster. CTC Frimley Park's aim is to act as the national centre of excellence for the cadet movement and thus be a source of inspiration and information. Our motto is Renovate Animos (Refresh the Spirit). The staff at CTC are committed to ensuring that 'Frimley Park' continues to carry out its task as a national centre of excellence successfully; indeed this pivotal role in support of the cadet movement, one of the leading youth organisations in the country, is important to all of us. Students and visitors have told us that we have created a unique and stimulating enviroment, which increases their knowledge, provides inspiration and re-charges their spirit of service and dedication. Each course is attended by experienced members of the cadet forces, who are here to act as Assistant Directing Staff and provide advice and assistance to students. All are selected for this important role because they have done well on a course here themselves. More than 100,000 adult and cadet students have passed through our doors since CTC was established in 1959.

Master Cadet Course 2602 | 05 Apr – 10 Apr

Another outstanding week on Master Cadet Course as cadets from across the nation came together to test themselves mentally and physically.

After tackling Ex Safari Park, cadets deployed into the field for an intense and rewarding few days of leadership tasks, teamwork and perseverance, before finishing with the final platoon attack.

The course ended in style with dinner night and a well-earned final parade.

Congratulations to everyone who gave it their all.

Master Cadet Course 2601 | 29 Mar – 03 Apr

A demanding week of leadership, resilience and teamwork as cadets took on the challenge of Master Cadet Course 2601.

From Ex Safari Park log run and obstacle course best effort, to several days deployed in the field facing a series of challenging scenarios, every cadet was pushed beyond their comfort zone.

The week concluded with a final Platoon Attack, themed dinner night, and a proud final parade.

Well done to all who took part.

Today the CTC Frimley Park team took on Ex Safari Park — a log run and obstacle course giving it our best effort! 💪🌲

A great reminder for the DS of the challenges our cadets face when they take on the Master Cadet Course, and a perfect bit of team building for the staff as well.

Tough, muddy, and definitely worth it. 👊
