Walk Wheel Cycle Trust have been appointed by the Greater Cambridge Partnership to get community and resident feedback on alternative designs for route improvements through Milton Village as part of the Waterbeach Greenway.

The Greenway seeks to improve conditions for people walking, wheeling and cycling along the route. We are holding workshops where we will be seeking feedback on the designs to help shape the Greenway through Milton Village.

✅ROAD OPEN
Milton Road,
The sinkhole repair works on Milton Road have now been completed, and the road is fully reopened to traffic.

We'd like to thank everyone in the community for their patience and understanding while these essential repairs were carried out.

Special thanks also go to our Highways team for their hard work and dedication in resolving this complex issue.

⏮️ The first train to use railway station arrived 175 years ago today, on Monday 3 August 1851.

⏩ Meldreth station link, which opened in 2025, connects the station to . It’s lined with wildflowers and combines improved walking, wheeling and cycling with an enhanced natural habitat.
