📢 Cambridgeshire County Council Engagement Survey 📢

Cambridgeshire County Council has launched a survey to gather feedback on Local Government Reorganisation.
This includes views on Option A, which proposes creating two new unitary councils: one for the North (Huntingdonshire, Fenland, Peterborough) and one for the South (East & South Cambridgeshire, Cambridge City).

The survey is open to residents, councils, businesses, and community groups. Responses are needed by 9th September.

Free event for landlords

Landlords in East Cambridgeshire are encouraged to attend a free event to hear the latest updates for the private rented sector.
East Cambridgeshire District Council is hosting the event on 10 September at the Maltings in Ely to share information with landlords to support successful tenancies.
Hot topics for discussion include the Private Renters’ Bill, rent deposits and successful tenancy sustainment.
Landlords will also find out more about grants for adaptations and energy efficiency improvements to properties.
The event is free to attend and runs from 10am until midday on Wednesday 10 September at the Maltings, Ship Lane, Ely. Attendees do not need to pre-book

What a transformation at the churchyard!!
All ready now for work to commence to wire brush and re-paint the railings.
A Huge thankyou goes to Max and his team at MB Arb Ltd for yet more donated hours to our beautiful community.

Another little project completed. This is the Pymoor Bus Shelter. Thanks again to Paul the councils handyman for yet another superb job.

Next stop the Pymoor telephone box refurb.
