It’s that time of year again: nominations are open to join our 2026/27 committee!

Fill out the nomination form (link below and in our bio) if you want take part in running CYG next year. And spread the word if you know people who might be interested!

Election Timetable:

1. Nominations open at 09:00 on Tuesday 9 June
2. Nominations close at 23:59 on Tuesday 23 June
3. Voting opens at 09:00 on Tuesday 30 June
4. Voting closes at 23:59 on Tuesday 7 July
5. Results will be announced at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 9 July
6. There will be a short handover period between the existing and incoming committees

Have a friend who’s undecided about their vote this May? Send this post to them!

Three reasons why Green is the right choice in Cambridge:

1. With your support, we will win
We’ve been gaining seats on Cambridge councils every year, and have recently been projected to win the parliamentary seat too.

2. We stand up for the 99%
As the only party not bankrolled by billionaires, we’d tax the super-rich and reverse cuts to public services.

3. These local elections matter
Where we demonstrate success on councils, we will send MPs to parliament in 2029. Every Green win puts pressure on Labour to stop appeasing Reform.

And don’t forget to register to vote before 20 April 2026 to make sure your voice is heard!
