Just Fair Justice and Fairness Through Human Rights We act as a hub and campaigning voice for this movement.

In the UK we all share an understanding that every individual should be treated fairly, and with basic respect and human dignity. From this common sense of social justice an Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ESCR) movement has emerged, which crosses the political divide of ‘left and right’. This movement believes that everyone has basic human rights to education, employment, health, social sec

urity, participation in cultural life and an adequate standard of living. More to the point, this movement recognises ESCR are not merely political gifts or acts of charity, but legal rights which impose legal obligations. We campaign for the realisation of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights for everyone in the United Kingdom. We work with partners to promote and enhance ESCR protection and co-ordinate opposition when these rights aren’t respected. But in our opinion, our most important task is to raise rights awareness, so that we all know our rights, and how to access them.
