Please take care on the coast tomorrow. Storm force SE then Southerly wind gusts coinciding with a high tide around 3pm, could result in coastal flooding.

Storm Bram is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds of up to 100mph to northern and western parts of the UK over the next couple of days, with an Amber weather warning issued by the Met Office in the worst affected areas.

Another fantastic SAR asset based in Argyll over the summer months.

It's official - construction work on the UK's newest search and rescue base is underway!

Ground was officially broken at the site at Oban Airport, Scotland this week and bulldozers rolled in to start the construction phase of the first of two seasonal bases.

When complete the base will house specialist teams and a SAR-configured AW189, ready to respond to emergency taskings during the peak summer months.
