Get to know the Wales Coast Path trail officers 👋
Sioned Jones covers the 130-mile section of the past that traces the outline of Anglesey. Here’s part 1 of our Q&A with her.
🌟 What’s your favourite Wales Coast Path walk?
There’s so much variety on Ynys Môn in a relatively short distance. There’s always something worth seeing – from dramatic clifftops to long sandy beaches and quiet, secluded coves. One of my favourite sections is along the north coast of the island, where the cliffs are stunning and the views never get old. There’s loads of history along the way too, and it’s one of the best places on the island to spot dolphins and porpoises if you’re lucky.
♥ What do you love about your job?
No two days are ever quite the same. I spend a lot of my time out and about, getting hands on with the path, working with volunteers, and meeting people enjoying the coast. I get to enjoy this fantastic island in all seasons and all kinds of weather.
