📢 UNISON Cymru Energy AGM 2026 📢

This is a reminder that the annual general meeting of this branch will be taking place this week via TEAMS (links on AGM email).

UNISON AGM - DAY 1
Tuesday 10th March 2026 (opens 11am on the day)

UNISON AGM - DAY 2
Thursday 12th March 2026 (opens 11.30am on the day)

The annual reports, proposed budget and nominations for the forthcoming year are available for you to view in advance via the AGM email you will have received.

Please come along to ensure your desired representatives are elected, come say hi, ask questions or discuss what is relevant to you. Interested in being a rep for your area? Let us know that too!

NB: the meetings will take place online. The paperwork is available electronically but if you require a different format, please reach out to us at [email protected]

Historic moment for UNISON Cymru.

Members now have the chance to choose the first ever commemorative poster celebrating our new devolved identity. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how we present ourselves to Wales and the world.

Earlier this year, members at national conference agreed to change our name to UNISON Cymru to reflect the importance of Welsh language, culture and heritage. We are marking this moment by commissioning a bold, hand-crafted poster from a Wales-based artist.

Three shortlisted artists have created striking designs that celebrate solidarity, working-class history, and the strength of public service workers in Wales.

This year's theme is Helping Men and Boys Thrive and encourages us to consider how we can celebrate positive role models and nurture a culture of openness, respect, and inclusion.

It's also important today to reflect on men's mental health - we need to advocate for better mental and physical support without stigna for those struggling.
