Ydych chi'n ystyried mabwysiadu ond ddim yn siŵr ble i ddechrau?

Rydyn ni’n cyflwyno cyfres newydd i'ch tywys trwy'r broses fabwysiadu, un cam ar y tro.

Y cam cyntaf yw gwneud ymholiad cychwynnol.

Mae hwn yn gyfle i siarad â'ch tîm mabwysiadu lleol, gofyn cwestiynau, a dysgu mwy er mwyn darganfod a yw mabwysiadu yn addas i chi.

Nid oes unrhyw bwysau, dim ond sgwrs i'ch helpu i gymryd y cam cyntaf.

I gael gwybod mwy, ewch i:

šŸ¢ Adoption in your workplace

Adoption is a life-changing journey, and support from employers can make a real difference.

We work with businesses across Wales to help them better understand how they can support employees who are thinking about, or going through, the adoption process.

This doesn’t have to be complex or costly - small changes in understanding and flexibility can have a big impact.

We’ve developed a free toolkit to help employers create a more adoption-friendly workplace.

šŸ¢ Mabwysiadu yn eich gweithle

Mae mabwysiadu yn siwrnai sy'n newid bywydau, a gall cefnogaeth gan gyflogwyr wneud gwir wahaniaeth.

Rydyn ni’n gweithio gyda busnesau ledled Cymru i'w helpu i ddeall yn well sut y gallant gefnogi gweithwyr sy'n ystyried, neu'n mynd drwy'r broses fabwysiadu.

Nid oes rhaid i hyn fod yn gymhleth nac yn gostus - gall newidiadau bach mewn dealltwriaeth a hyblygrwydd wneud gwahaniaeth mawr.

Rydyn ni wedi datblygu pecyn cymorth am ddim i helpu cyflogwyr i greu gweithle sy'n fwy cyfeillgar tuag at fabwysiadu.

Natasha, 43, adopted through Adoption Mid and West Wales in 2014. As a single parent, she took time to research adoption thoroughly before beginning her journey.

She adopted siblings of Thai heritage, a three-year-old daughter and a 20-month-old son, knowing that sibling groups and children from minority ethnic backgrounds often wait longer to be matched with families.

ā€œThe world is made up of so many different families. Adoption has helped my children understand that there is no one way to be a family.ā€

Fe wnaeth Natasha, 43, fabwysiadu drwy Mabwysiadu Canolbarth a Gorllewin Cymru yn 2014. Fel rhiant sengl, cymerodd ei hamser i ymchwilio i fabwysiadu yn drylwyr cyn dechrau ar ei siwrnai.

Mabwysiadodd siblingiaid o dreftadaeth Gwlad Thai, merch tair oed a mab 20 mis oed, yn ymwybodol bod grwpiau o frodyr a chwiorydd a phlant o gefndiroedd ethnig lleiafrifol yn aml yn aros yn hirach i gael eu paru â theuluoedd.

ā€œMae’r byd yn cynnwys cymaint o wahanol deuluoedd. Mae mabwysiadu wedi helpu fy mhlant i ddeall nad oes un ffordd i fod yn deulu.ā€

Here are some photos from our Adoption Activity Day in Cardiff last month.

Events like these are an important part of our work, where prospective adopters spend time with children who are looking for their forever home.

It’s a fun and informal setting, and everyone enjoyed our Springtime on the farm theme.
