Soul Eater is so cool!! Maka is my favourite, I hope that we do get a revamp of it, especially after the awesomeness of fire force!!!

Ennill eto yn yr Urdd!

Mae un o’r bobl ifanc sy’n dod i’n gweithdai – Daf – wedi bod yn gweithio’n hynod galed yn ein gweithdai animeiddio ac wedi creu ffilm wych. Rydym newydd glywed ei fod wedi ennill y wobr Cynnwys Digidol yn yr Eisteddfod yr Urdd eleni. Am yr ail waith yn olynol! Arbennig Daf!
Buom yn holi Daf am y broses…

Winning again at the Urdd!

One of our workshop participants Daf has been working really hard in our animation workshops and has made an amazing film. We have just heard that he has won the Digital Content prize at this year’s Urdd Eisteddfod. That is two years running! Well done Daf!
We asked Daf about the process…
“Nick helped me set out my ideas for this film into a storyboard and plan the order for animating. My favourite thing about the Turnip Starfish classes are learning about the little tricks and ways to give characters and films more life.”
You will be able to see his animation at the art pavilion in Anglesey at this year’s Eisteddfod yr Urdd.

Read Lexemon's latest
on our website. Many moons ago, when anime reached the western world, our first experience of Japanese animation was likely to be either Akira or Ghost in the Shell. Both of these films are still celebrated and considered as films that you must watch usually placing in the top 10 list of most anime aficionados. However...

Princess Hibana!
Time laps video! Digital illustration of Princess/Sister Hibana from Fire Force. I did this a while ago but I thought I’d share! Good or bad, she’s got a soft spot for Shinra. I love this show!!!?
Now that Fire Force is over let’s hope for a Soul Eater remake!!!

Basic construction techniques we use can be used for all sorts of drawing!
