Ar 19 Mehefin 916, ymosododd Æthelflæd (ynganiad bras: ETH-el-ffled) ar Frycheiniog, gan gipio’r frenhines a 33 arall o’r crannog brenhinol yn Llyn Syfaddan, ger Aberhonddu.

On 19 June 916, Æthelflæd (pronounced roughly ETH-uhl-flæd) raided Brycheiniog, capturing the queen and 33 others from a royal crannog on Llangorse Lake near Brecon.
