An Excellent first joint training experience between the Welsh Ambulance Service’s specialist Cymru High Acuity Response Unit and 203 Multirole Medical Regiment at the new medical training facility at our Army Reserve Base 🏥
The course focused on trauma care in challenging and austere environments, including:
⚡️ Ketamine use in trauma management
🫁 Advanced airway adjuncts and video laryngoscopy techniques
❤️ Mechanical chest compression device application
🚑 Realistic trauma scenarios including RTCs and busy nightclub incidents
A brilliant opportunity to strengthen teamwork, clinical skills, and decision-making under pressure, with more to come! Huge thanks to everyone involved in delivering such valuable training.
