Meet Major Poh from our Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility - a deployable medical capability designed to provide enhanced care in the field 🩺🪖

At the core of the facility is the Trauma Team that provides emergency treatments to the sickest patients sent from more forward medical facilities (also shown in the video) with patient movements coordinated by multiple units involved in this Exercise.

From diagnostics, resuscitation through to Damage Control Surgery and patient stabilisation, it’s where clinical expertise meets operational readiness. 🫡🏥

Nijmegen March! It’s no small “feet” 👣🇳🇱

A huge well done to all the troops who poured their hearts (and soles) into 4 days, 100 miles, carrying 22lbs, and representing 203MMR every step of the way.

Thank you to everyone who carried the Welsh flag high throughout the Nijmegen Marches – a symbol of resilience, teamwork and Welsh pride.

Here’s hoping every blister heals, every toe makes a speedy recovery, and every mile is celebrated!

9 nights in the field, one final formation and a training area that never fails to deliver.

Against the backdrop of the Bannau Brycheiniog, personnel from across the exercise came together to mark the end of S-ACT — tired, tested and proud of what had been achieved.

Personnel from across multiple units have come together for S-ACT — the Super Annual Continuous Training Camp 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Throughout 10 days in the field, teams have been exercising deployed medical care through a wide range of realistic scenarios, using simulated casualties to test their clinical response, teamwork and operational capability 🩺

The training has also put the different teams and field hospital elements that make up our Multi-Role Medical Regiment (MMR) through their paces, alongside a number of other MMR’s who have joined us from accross the country.

1. June saw exciting events for us in 203MMR
2. We competed in the Army Medical Service Tactical Training Exercise (AMSTTE) and finished 3rd 🏆
3. The Tower of London Cerony of the Keys is a 700 year old tradition, members of 203MMR, past and present, gathered for the experience 🇬🇧
4. We ran a stand at the Armed Forces Day in Pembrokeshire. Pembroke Dock was once a major Royal dockyard, building over 250 ships for the Royal Navy; while during World War II this small town in West Wales housed an RAF base which became the world’s largest flying boat station. Pembroke Dock was also a key port for the Royal Navy and a garrison town for the Army. The town was heavily bombed by the Luftwaffe during WWII. The community of Pembroke Dock takes huge pride in their military heritage. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
5. Congratulations to Pte Harper completing her Soldier Training! 🪖
6. Our Commanding Officer competed in the Inter-Services Fencing Championships representing the Army ⚔️
7. Our triathletes LCpl Monaghan and Pte Drew represented 203MMR at the Inter-Corps triathlon championships 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏊

Thank you to all for another outstanding month! The efforts reservists put in to serving with 203MMR, whilst managing full time careers, families and all other responsibilities does not go unnoticed.

203MMR Ex LITTORAL MEDIC ‘26 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇨🇦

We deployed to a small island in British Columbia, Canada. Working alongside Canadian colleagues from 11 and 12 Field Ambulance, this exercise involved:

- History of the units
- Ranges using Canadian weapon systems
- Medical scenarios on sea 🛥️ land ⛰️ and air 🚁

Sea operations took place on the Orca naval ship and air operations on the Cyclone helicopter. Land operations were conducted within the Albert Head training area in Victoria, Canada.

Service personnel were transported via the Cyclone helicopter and lowered onto various platforms, including a submarine.

Medical scenarios were conducted in the confined spaces of the ships and aircraft and all our personnel represented the unit exceptionally well, both professionally and medically.

This exercise enhanced our interoperability with our NATO allies, and we look forward to more international exercises and the invaluable experience they provide

💥April Soldier Highlight 💥

Sgt Dod is an exceptional and talented member of 203 MMR. She has excelled in Army Rugby, proudly representing the Women’s British Army Rugby team for 10 years and playing in the Army v Navy inter-service campaign at Twickenham.

Professionally, she has deployed on global exercises as a critical care nurse, demonstrating outstanding clinical expertise under pressure.

Beyond her core role, Sgt Dod has displayed impressive leadership, confidence, and resilience through a range of adventurous training activities across both mountain and maritime environments.
