Cardigan Neighbourhood Policing Prevention Team attended the official unveiling of the mural at Cardigan Rugby Club.

This project was funded by Ceredigion County Council Youth Services, with help from Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi students.

The students from Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi worked with Pembrokeshire based street artist Lloyd Roberts and transformed the spectator stand at King George V playing fields into a colourful tribute to the rugby clubs 150th anniversary with their talented artwork.

The mural features vibrant fire breathing dragons, views of the town and rugby players.

It is a wonderful display, bringing the art to life and stands proud representing the integral role our rugby club plays within the community, bringing people together, supporting local talent, and creating a place where everyone belongs.

APPEAL | Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for the public’s help following a residential burglary in the Llangoedmor area.

Sometime between 4.30am and 3.40pm on Friday, 16 January 2026 a property in the village of Llangoedmor near Cardigan was entered, and property including cash and to***co was stolen.

PC Ben Cole, investigating officer said “Crimes like these are rare in a small community like Llangoedmor and whilst we are following a number of lines of enquiry, public help in being both our eyes and ears and supporting our investigations with information can make a huge difference. I would appeal to anyone who has information, no matter how small you think it may be, to get in touch.

“Following this incident we have increased patrols in the area, and I would ask residents to always be mindful of their home security. Advice on keeping your home secure can be found on our website at https://orlo.uk/UmNZQ”

👮🏼‍♀️ PCSO Sian Clarke had a great time out and about in Cardigan Town last Saturday night with Cllr Philippa Noble.

We raised awareness of VAWG, Safer Streets, and the Ask For Angela scheme.

Lots of lovely people spoken with about how to keep their drinks and themselves safe❗

🍷 🥂 If you feel unsafe when out socialising, go to the bar and ask for 'Angela' - staff will help you discreetly and without fuss.

⚠️ Never leave a drink unattended
⚠️ Don't accept drinks from strangers
Stay with your friends and look out for each other

🍷 If you think your drink has been spiked
Tell a staff member
If you feel unwell, seek medical attention right away❗
Report it to the Police. Drugs can leave the body quickly, so it's important you get tested as soon as possible❗
