We’re delighted to welcome Isabelle, who has joined the Currock House Community Centre team as our new Community Development & Funding Officer! 💚

Isabelle will be working with us to help develop new opportunities, support our community projects and groups, and explore funding opportunities to help our Centre continue to grow and make a positive difference in our community. 🌱✨

Wishing all the playgroup children starting school this week a great first week! As most schools have an inset day on Tuesday our playgroup will return on Tuesday 8th September 9.30am. Looking forward to seeing you all then.

It is Wednesday....which means it's community pantry day! We are looking forward to seeing you today between 12-2, come through the big black gates once they open at 12. It's £3 for eight items, no referral needed just bring a bag.

💚 Community Defibrillator Fundraiser 💚
AEDdonate have kindly kickstarted our fundraising campaign with a kind donation of £300 towards our new centre defibrillator.
Every minute matters when someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest. Having a defibrillator available at the community centre could help save a life by providing immediate assistance before emergency services arrive.

We have just two places left on our walking group trip on Tuesday 1st September, the bus leaves Denton holme at 9.15 am and the walk will be in Cannonbie for approx an hour, then lunch (not included in price) in Langhom with return to Denton holme after lunch. The cost is £10 please just get in touch if you are interested.
