The Post Office is open until 12.30pm , with Morrisons cash machine closed, we are noticing a trend on a Sunday that Sainsbury's usually runs out and people are wanting cash out here.

So get ahead of the game if you need cash out and don't be running about Sunday night looking for a working Cash Machine !

Here until 12.30pm prompt!

Socials have been quiet this week even though the new offers have landed , Laura's been off for most of the week but coming back in today her brain looks a bit like these parcels 😂🧠

Thank you to everyone who left details for the under 18 role it is on my to do list and we had a lot of interest from some really lovely people but along with sorting staff holidays, scanning parcels, 2 broken fridges and anything else that life throws at us it's stacked 🫠

It's been a quiet old weekend.... I think everyone's doing the run Cumbria Run !

We have lots of fresh sandwiches from McCall's Baker's still left and fresh cream cakes, we also have plenty of pies, pasties and sausage rolls all from our local butcher in longtown and and 1 packet of Cranston sausage left.... But I'll let you fight that out!

As we have seen at a local business this weekend, we all get a lot of grief especially independent shops on NOT selling energy drinks to kids.

There currently is no law on who we can sell them too, and they can happily be on display with other soft drinks, but I can assure you if I sell one to wee 8 year old Johnny boy I would have his mum coming down on us 🧱 , and that's without kids hassling us for them.

Our staff use their common sense and we ourselves try and impose a 16 rule and have done for sometime.

The law is changing in April (thankfully) but age 16 is a difficult one, apart from their passport what other IDs do 16 year olds carry about?!

Thoughts on a postcard 😂
