Last night we celebrated FF Finlays last drill night. Scott officially retires from his post on Saturday morning after protecting the community for 35 years and 10 months. What an outstanding achievement. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We wish Scott all the best and thank him for all he has done in his time with us. 🚒🧑🏻‍🚒♥️.

Just to remind everyone who showed an interest in joining our team, the information night is this Monday at 6pm at Carluke fire station. You must stay a maximum of 8 mins of the fire station and a driving licence is diserable. See you all then.

Carluke Fire Station has a great track record of developing On Call Firefighter that have seen many of them being successful in joining Scottish Fire and Rescue on a whole time basis.

Recent changes to the levels of commitment allow for greater flexibility. Rather than previously offering either 120 hours per week or 90 hours per week. A leveled scale of hours offered is now reflected in pay. For the right candidate these levels of commitment can be as low as 31 hours per week.
