We has a customer come into our farm shop saying there was a box in the car park near the vets with some young ducklings in
Kerry brought the box to Izzy and they both got the poor little ducklings settled into our hatchery room with some feed,water and heat lamp
Although the way they arrived here was awful, it couldn’t have come at a better time for us as we had just had a lone duckling hatch and they really don’t do well alone which would have meant Kerry would have taken it home with her (as she’s done a lot) and during the day it would have been tucked in her jumper to keep it warm…. We think she’s secretly happy about the 2 new arrivals

Highlands love pumpkins 🎃

Do you think she realises how photogenic she is, BELLA is gorgeous😍some of our cows have enjoyed having a snack on one of our pumpkins which broke over the weekend

Don’t forget! You can come down on Sunday 1st November & smash up any pumpkins we have left💥we will then feed the rest to the animals so NOTHING goes to waste

OUR CASHMERE GOAT GOES BACK OUT

The weather is getting a bit cold and wet now so we need space indoors to bring our donkeys and ponies in
To allow us to do this we need to have a move around of a few animals, so Randy our cashmere Billy is going back out with the other Billy’s and his ladies will move around the corner where we have more goats

🐐 The great escape….again 🐐

What is it with these golden guernsey goats? They have food,water, hay and company…. Yet they still keep jumping out and exploring the farm👀

Looks like Kerry’s meet the staff is going to have to wait…. We think that’s all we will get from Kerry now!
