Congratulations to FF Colin McNicoll who recently passed his Green Phase Assessment, successfully completing his three-year probationary period.

This important milestone means Colin can now remove the diamond sticker from his helmet and is recognised as a competent firefighter.

Colin has shown great commitment, hard work, and determination throughout his probation, and this achievement reflects the effort he has put into his training and development. While reaching competency is a significant step, continuous learning remains an important part of the role, and we know Colin will continue to build on his knowledge and experience.

Well done, Colin, from everyone at the station.

We're taking part in a huge effort to create a nation of lifesavers.

Children and young people at hundreds of schools and nurseries from across the UK will learn life-saving CPR skills to mark Restart a Heart Live on Thursday, 1 October.

We'll have staff attend a nursery school in Fife to teach youngsters the basics.

Today we attend the Maths Career Fair at Carlogie Primary School, alongside other agencies and companies we displayed the practical application of math in the work place. We were impressed by the enthusiasm to complete our fire service themed maths challenges. Have a go at home with your children- (see images).
