Cithrah is delighted to offer The Bereavement Journey, a gentle and supportive 7‑week course for anyone navigating grief after the loss of a loved one.

This course provides a safe space to reflect, share (if you wish), explore grief with compassion and understanding.

📅 Start Date: Tuesday 5th May

Our wonderful volunteer befriender Vanessa has been spending time with Anna , and it turns out they share a love of baking!

From classic sponge cakes to trying out new cookie ideas, they’ll be swapping stories, skills, and a few secret ingredients along the way. For both of them, it’s about more than baking — it’s about connection, companionship, and creating something special together.

This is what befriending is all about: building meaningful relationships across generations, celebrating shared interests, and reminding each other that it’s never too late to learn something new (or enjoy a second slice of cake!)✨

Today at the BB Museum we are featuring a programme from the 1933 Annual General Meeting of The Boys’ Brigade.

Held during the Jubilee year marking 50 years of the movement, the AGM brought together leaders and representatives from across the organisation to reflect on progress, discuss the work of the Brigade, and look ahead to the future.

Documents like this programme offer a valuable insight into how the Brigade was organised and governed during a landmark year in its history, and they highlight the dedication of those who helped shape its direction.

It remains a powerful reminder of continuity, service, and commitment within The Boys’ Brigade.
