So after sharing the post on how OCC are taking to court on Tuesday, we now have Refuge Day in Witney flying the flag?
When and who decided this was appropriate? How insensitive.
Yet the British Country supporting and giving care and aid to refugees are not allowed to fly their own flag?🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪

Now I support Ukraine and have been a host to a family and support to another host family for a few years and fully support legal migrants as they have gone through the proper channels to come here, however the illegal migrants is where the British public is frustrated and this post can be quite decisive and seen as rage bait....
we should still be allowed to fly our countrys flags because I can assure the Council flags are not the intimidating thing to a refugee...it's the bombing, starvation, killing.

This news report regarding the 🇬🇧Flags🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 is just quite shocking tbh! How much is this costing the tax payer to pay for this court case? We as a District did not vote for our taxes to be spent this way? as we already know it's costing an arm and a leg to take the flags down and yet our roads aren't fit to drive on?

Where do we draw the line? Why does it seem it is ok to have everyone and anyone else allowed to fly their flags, but we the BRITISH aren't???
Not to mention we have a lot of Military in WODC and should be proud to fly the flags for our service personnel and veterans??
I am hoping the courts will see through this!

On Monday (22nd June), marking the start of Armed Forces Week, Reverend Barry from St John the Evangelist Church will conduct a short service by the War Memorial at 9.25am. This will be followed at 9.30am by the Mayor raising the Armed Forces Day Flag, with Group Captain Henton, Station Commander RAF Brize Norton, and WO Bruce taking the salute. We hope you will join us.

So I came across this post this morning from a future candidate of the LD party...
Ben has filmed the first part of this video in Carterton Town Hall, which makes me feel uneasy that this means our dear Mr Epps has future plans of his "quiet lanes" idea onto Carterton??

Please do have a watch and feedback back your comments on the link. You will see my comments already on the original post.
My point is they say they will work with local Councils?? However how many times have they ignored the consultation of the public? For example in Carterton the Town Council and residents all spoke out saying we did not want the ANPR Cameras and yet it is still coming!
So why would they listen to us if we said we don't want this idea imposed on us? You need to realise they don't listen and will do as they please regardless...while spending public money too.

Mr Epps is now the man responsible for our roads and all transport matters and as someone who knows him personally, he has got some serious work to do to make up for the failings of his predecessor. Tbh I have no faith it will improve if these are the ideas coming forward when the first jobs of roads doesn't seem to be the priority.
