Yesterday was a very busy Meet your Councillor session. Thank you everyone who made the effort to come down and talk to us all.

Main points were the following:
1. ANPR Cameras
2. Town look and feel, needs more going for it.
3. Nothing for teenagers to do and causes antisocial behaviour.
4. The homeless man in Brize.

So in response to these concerns I have actioned:
1. I and the Council have done a number of resolutions and yesterday I have created a petition to send to OCC, so please sign it.

2. As a Council we have plans and are looking to find money to make small improvements. For example we have replaced noticed boards, put new signage up and bought benches, but more still needs to be done.

3. We have plans to do up the Rec play park which is very much in full swing. The Dell and skatepark. However it is with the clerk/council to apply for money and we are working through these plans.

4. I have helped the homeless man as much as I can. He now is under WODC homeless team and is under Connections team and he has been offered help and support, so I have left him with them and I check in on him regularly.

Here is an update on the WODC District Council meeting by Sarah Evans Councillor the new North West Carterton District Councillor.

Please read as it still seems very much the childish playground games are still being played even now I am not there.

Today they talked about the local plan that still has it's infrastructure missing!!!... I mentioned that back in February of this year! Still hasnt been done!???

The Woodford Way Car Park which I and the party are firmly against!

And we'll the rest. Today's meeting is worth a watch to see how th Councillors elected in behave!

📷📷 ANPR CAMERAS PETITION!!! 📷📷

So I have set up a Gov.uk petition regarding the ANPR Cameras being installed in Rock Farm ward this summer ready for launch for September school term.

I met a lovely couple whom live on Lawton Ave at the Meet your Councillor session today and suggested a petition. I have come home and actioned this right away, so please do sign and share away!

I am aware the Conservatives have done a leaflet for the bi-election tomorrow regarding a stop the cameras and I am glad we are all on the same page! However this QR Code is a survey regarding the Conservatives website, so by filling in the Gov.Uk link below I have created please lets give this petition link a push and see how much support we can gather to pass onto OCC officially!!!
