We were delighted today to welcome the High Sheriff of Somerset, Janet Montgomery to Castle Cary Community Library. Part of the Sheriff’s role is to assist in promoting voluntary organisations throughout the county and we were pleased to be able to explain about the formation and running of the library. The library is staffed and funded entirely by volunteers and provides a valuable resource in the community for all ages. Thank you for coming and taking such an interest, it is much appreciated.
