Wow, what a fantastic start to the reading challenge.. 81 children have signed up for it so far👏👏

And we have 5 that have finished already, all from Orchard School🎉🏅

There’s still lots of time to sign up and complete the challenge and don’t forget there’s also the treasure hunt around the village to spot the characters 🕵️

If you have books to return after 2pm please pop them into the Dropbox outside.

A big thank you to Love Castle Donington! It was presentation night last night and grants totalling £7000 were awarded to local groups and charities, which is fantastic.
The library will be buying a new table for the public laptop😃

Thank you to everyone who came to our music quiz and bingo night on Friday. We raised an amazing £510 which will go towards the running costs of the library🎉
