✅ The miniature railway will be OPEN tomorrow
for as many rides as you like from 1200 - 1500

🌦️ We're going to ride out the rain on the CVMR!

🏛️ Saturday 24th October is a Museum & Mini rail day -
Museum viewing and mini rail rides only
No public trains will operate on the big railway

☕ Say hello to our yellow loco Saffron as you
warm up in our heated shop, with Pullman seating!
We have a range of light refreshments such as
Bean to cup coffee, muffins, sandwiches and more
(We also have a range of branded merch available,
including the return of our mini rail magnets!)

🎟️ Your ticket allows you to explore our attractions on site,
take a closer look at the trains on display and
don't forget to keep an eye out for any
shunting that may happen!

🦺 You may also see some of our dedicated volunteers
undertaking projects around the railway.
These quiet days are a perfect opportunity to find out more
about what we do to support the CVR

🧥 And of course - bring a coat if you're visiting tomorrow!

THIS SUNDAY - 25th October!

* We'll do our best to keep running tomorrow, if the rain does get extremely heavy we may have to suspend operations, although this will be an absolute last resort. We are expecting to run as scheduled.

🚂 Ruston Brake Van Rides – Sunday 25 October

Something a little different is happening at the Colne Valley Railway this Sunday for our end-of-season event.

The Ruston 88DS diesel locomotive will be in action, hauling our brake van and letting visitors ride behind this small industrial locomotive. It's a rare chance to travel behind the Ruston.

Class 03 activity will also take place during the day, with the possibility of double-heading 03s.

🚂 Unlimited passenger train rides included with admission
🚇 The Miniature Railway will also be in operation.
☕ The buffet will also be open, serving hot and cold food all day.
🅿️ Free on-site parking
