MAY PHOTO COMPETITION: WE HAVE A WINNER!

Judging is becoming more and more difficult every month. But we are sure you will agree this stunning photo from Dominik Skowronski is a deserved winner this month.

The judges also gave second place to Daniel Jwanczuk for his brilliant shot "light pollution" and third place to Avril Godfrey for her picture of the War Memorial representing a part of our local heritgage.

To everyone who submitted a photo: thank you. The standard was fantastic. Your images will feature at our Residents’ Forums and in our newsletters, bringing colour, pride and a sense of place to our meetings.

You may have noticed that Far Cotton got a little bit brighter over the weekend!🌸
Our annual In Bloom displays were installed on (a very soggy) Saturday by an army of Councillors and Volunteers. Thank you to everybody who gave up their time to help bring some colour to our local area, especially Irfan, Pete, Sarah, Zach and Joe-Joe, we could not have done it without you. The displays can be seen on Gloucester Avenue, the ASDA junction, Towcester Road and St Leonard's Road. We hope you enjoy them throughout the summer months!

📢CALLING ALL LOCAL PEOPLE!📢

Got a free morning this Saturday and fancy doing something that brightens up the whole area? From 9am we’ll be installing our In Bloom displays and would be extremely grateful for some volunteers. It does involve some lifting, but it’s hugely rewarding and always appreciated by residents.

Join us this evening at the Rec Centre to hear some useful information on estate planning and wills, share your views on local matters and enjoy a tea and biscuit or two with others in the community. We'll see you there!

Tuesday 2 June, 7.30pm-9pm, Far Cotton Rec Centre.

Join us next Tuesday for our June Residents Forum. There will be the usual opportunity to have your say on local issues and we'll be joined by guest speaker, James Rogers who'll have information on wills and trusts, planning for care fees, and the importance of having Lasting Powers of Attorney in place.
