It's been a busy week painting tiles, these will now be given to Riverside Paint A Pot to glaze and I think they fire them in a kiln to bring out all the colours, or might be some kind of magic, we don't really know. Tomorrow we have a lot booked in, but we will see what happens with the weather. We may have to move it inside if the gazebo doesn't hold up. Loads of room 😂 Don't worry if you haven't booked yet, I will be arranging some weekend slots and some catch up sessions over the coming months. I think I will need to apply to get this as a listed building once these tiles are on.

Finally getting round to sorting out the feature wall in the new shop. My plan is to offer the option for local children to paint their very own tile that will be in the Post Office for hopefully for many decades to come. I will set up a link where you can book a session w/c 24/8 between 12 - 2pm. The cost will be £7.50 which will cover the cost of Riverside Paint A Pot supplying the tile, paint and glazing each tile, as well as lunch for your child, sandwich, drink (Fruitshoot, Milkshake etc) and some kind of cake or crisps. You will still be responsible for supervising your child. I don't think you could afford the fee for me to look after any 😂. I will set up a gazebo at the side of the shop where we will do it all. Hopefully people know that I will be losing money on this, but more than happy to subside it slightly so that each time over the years you come in to visit your tile I will try to sell you more stuff. 😁

This was my creation with crushed up flake and whipped cream. Staff were unimpressed with my effort, but I think it looks pretty good 😂 I'm open to suggestions on any other toppings to offer. £2.25 for a 12oz milkshakes and fresh orange slushies, but the slushies you can get in the meal deal and cheaper with a sandwich. Today we have been playing around with the milkshake setting. We managed to produce a really nice chocolate milkshake that I would say is even better than the McDonalds version. Plus the advantage is that our machine won't be 'Out of order' all the time 😂. £2.25 for our 12oz milkshakes.
