Today we said our goodbyes to one of our truly great members and for the people that had the privilege of knowing Tommy, a gentleman that would have you laughing and always had a good story to tell.

He was loved by many we want to send our condolences to his family and friends, RIP Tommy Walker a truly great gent. We know you will be sat beside a lake somewhere with a rod in hand. 🎣🎣🇬🇧🇬🇧

The fishing community has lost a truly great guy. You will always be remembered.

As some of our members will know and further a field one of our members sadly passed away recently this year.

Chris was a very much loved family man and an overall special person always making time for his friend and family making them all laugh and smile.

This Saturday his friends and family will be taking on a 20 mile challenge walking from Whitby to Saltburn in his memory.

All funds will be donated to the Darlington memorial special care baby unit. If there is anything t at all you can donate the link is below which will take you directly to the post with more information and link to the charity.

Happy armed forces weekend everyone celebrate with loved ones friend and family. Raise a toast to those veterans, current serving who still to this day and have previously over the years gave up their today for our tomorrow, fighting for our countries freedom. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

I first founded this club to give back to the veteran community, make them feel like they have another armed forces band of brothers and sisters when the leave the military.

Replicating the ID card scenario and making our own, having a community of like minded people, having a uniform of our own creating our own merchandise range, and most of all you never really see a squaddie without a brew in their hand we now have our own branded mugs.

The whole idea of the club is Veterans first and foremost they have sacrificed a lot of time and they deserve the recognition they get.

We work with numerous lakes and brands that offer our club exclusive discounts, I have worked hard to secure a lot of it but even if it’s just a pound or two back into a Veterans pocket it’s all about giving something back.

If you have a brand, a lake, a bait firm and wish to work with us to give back to the Veteran community then feel free to send us a message. We will always share your social media posts stories etc, giving you more exposure and also a new base of customers from our club.
