Started just a couple of days ago, this wonderful community craft project is now on display throughout the summer! Come and see a beautiful panel of knitted and crocheted flowers covering part of the Heras fencing around the gardens.

Created by enthusiastic local volunteers, this vibrant installation also hides fun little insects among the flowers—perfect for children to spot 🐞🦋

On Sunday 3rd May (2–4pm), visitors will meet the project leader, Hester, in the gardens, where children can make paper butterflies to help decorate the space or take home 🦋

From Friday 1st May and throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy a vibrant display of knitted and crocheted flowers covering one of the Heras fence panels around the unsafe walls. This community craft project has been created by many enthusiastic local contributors.

Come along to admire this beautiful installation, and bring young children to see if they can spot the playful insects hidden among the flowers.

On Sunday 3rd May, from 2pm to 4pm, you can meet the project leader, Hester, in the gardens. During this time, children will also have the opportunity to make paper butterflies to decorate the garden or take home.
