There appears to be a significant rise in antisocial behaviour by vehicles being driven late at night and into the early hours of the morning, both at high speed and with excessive noise. These actions of a small number of people are blighting some areas with Yeovil and Chard both seeming to be the most affected.

I have raised this with Clare Moody Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner and will pass on any information she is able to share with me.

Chard Library is a brilliant asset to our town.🙂

Libraries provide so much to our communities and are wonderful spaces that offer much more than you would expect.

Whether giving access to the internet or for drop in sessions by local services. They are hosting baby and toddler sessions and providing safe spaces for people to catch up with friends. Quiet areas to do some work, a warm place in the winter and a cool space in the summer.

Just pop in and register for your library card to borrow books and use the internet.

Somerset Libraries UK are a vital part of our local communities right across the county.
