Join us in the heart of Charlestown Harbour, at Smugglers on the harbour for relaxed evenings and lazy Sunday afternoons filled with great music, sea air and harbour views.

Introducing... The Skipper Festival ⚓

This August Bank Holiday, Charlestown Harbour will host a brand new celebration of sailing, music and summer on the Cornish coast.

Expect visiting boats, live music, harbour-side drinks, maritime workshops, watersports, good food and plenty of opportunities to soak up the atmosphere in one of Britain's most iconic historic harbours.

In partnership with Skipper Rum , we're bringing together sailors, locals and visitors for a relaxed weekend of music, social events and coastal culture.

This is just the beginning - we'll be announcing music, activities, visiting vessels and more over the coming weeks.

🤠🎸 Country rock, Americana and a little bit of Cornish grit...

Join us at Charlestown Harbour on Sunday 28th June for an afternoon with The Rhinestone Rats as part of our Harbour Sounds series.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Gram Parsons, The Rhinestone Rats blend country, rock ’n’ roll and Americana into a sound that's both timeless and distinctly their own. Expect twangy guitars, driving rhythms, storytelling songs and a touch of 70s psychedelia.

A few familiar faces – and one new arrival – looking rather splendid in Charlestown Harbour this week. ⛵

We're delighted to welcome Jan Rorlan, a beautiful pilot cutter that arrived on Monday evening to her new home port. Built in the 1990s to a traditional pilot cutter design inspired by the fast, seaworthy working vessels that once raced to meet ships offshore, she combines classic lines with modern craftsmanship and has become a familiar sight at maritime events around the South West.

Also here in the harbour is Anny of Charlestown, currently alongside for work on her rig and a number of other projects as preparations continue for a return to sailing next season.

Meanwhile Sea Lion is looking as elegant as ever and is now available for unique overnight stays right here in the harbour – complete with cosy interiors, harbour views and even space for four-legged crew members. 🐾

And over at The Deck, visitors can once again enjoy food and drink aboard Pen Glas, the much-loved former French vivier crabber, offering one of the most unusual seats in the harbour.

With historic vessels, working boats, restoration projects and places to stay afloat, Charlestown Harbour is slowly coming back to life one boat at a time.
