After much work by local residents, the draft Neighbourhood Plan has been formally adopted for consultation by Chartham Parish Council. Now it’s your turn to shape it.

If you live or work in Chartham Parish, this is your chance to influence how the area develops up to 2040. The plan outlines where new development could go and sets out local policies to protect the things you love about Chartham.

What happens next?

Once this consultation ends, Canterbury City Council will present the plan for a public vote – either for or against. Your feedback now can help improve the plan before that happens.
