🌿 Volunteer Update 🌿

Our fantastic volunteers attended Glenwood Close and successfully cleared GB25, including the path through Grove Wood leading to the field.

Unfortunately, the rain meant they had to pack up earlier than planned, but great progress was still made! 👏

They’ll be back next week to install a handrail by the steps.

Thank you to everyone involved! 💚

Volunteer Update – RR14 Clearance in Borstal 🌿

Last week, our fantastic volunteers began clearing Route RR14 in Borstal, working from Brambletree Cottages down to the river and onwards towards Rochester, reaching as far as Brambletree Wharf.

Despite the heat today, the team returned to finish the job, continuing from Brambletree Wharf through to just below the motorway – an area that was particularly overgrown.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work and dedication. Your efforts are truly appreciated! 💚

🌿 Works completed on RS19 by the Volunteers🌿

They have replaced a broken stile, cleared the stile and waymarkers where it meets RS5 and added new tape and waymarkers along the whole path.

Great work by the team! 👏

Last week our volunteers were kept busy out on the network. The work began at St Mary’s Marsh, where they walked along the sea wall to check access to RS19. During the visit, it was noted that two stiles in the area are falling apart and in need of replacement. The team are hoping to carry out this work this week (if not already done so).

They then moved on to clear RS18 from Coombe Farm to RS6, as well as tidying up the end of RS14. Several stiles were also cleared, and new waymarkers and tape were installed to help improve route visibility.

A big thank you to our volunteers for all their hard work in keeping the paths open and accessible 🌿👏

Last week our amazing volunteers finished up work on GB13, from Moor Street right down to where it joins GB12. They got the fallen fence back up using two old posts, cleared the overhanging growth, gave it a good strim, and popped up fresh waymarkers and tape.
They even spotted a little lizard sunbathing along the way! 🦎☀️
