What do these pictures have in common?
All of these fly-tipped items are under investigation. The illegal dumping of waste is an offence and can lead to prosecution.
Davenport Avenue, Waltham Road & Taswell Road.
Most of this waste could have been presented at the kerbside for the weekly waste and recycling collections. The furniture and mattresses could have been disposed of free of charge at the local HWRC or arranged for a free bulky waste collection.

The leading causes of accidental grass fires in and are:

👉 barbecues - often when used too close to trees or bushes
👉 bonfires - often when built too big, too close to bushes or buildings, and not supervised
👉 ci******es - often when carelessly thrown away while hot

So whether you're barbecuing, having a bonfire, or smoking - please remember to do so responsibly to reduce the chance of a fire. Thank you.
