Bonfire Party!
To celebrate the 5th November in style, we made marshmallow rockets that we quickly turned in to smores, firework crafting, bonfire building, hot chocolates by the fire with Sally the cat and UV painting with a fire themed playlist created by one of our students.
Students also completed “Let It Go” notes to write their worries on to. We folded them in to paper aeroplanes and threw them into the fire for it to take our worries away.
Thank you to everyone who took part throughout the day, we hope you had as much fun as we did! 🔥 🎆 ☕️ 🐈‍⬛ 🍪

Penstone Annual Halloween Party 2025 AKA Best one yet!
We had pumpkin picking in the forest, pumpkin carving, guess the ghost, what’s in the box?, ghost horse photos, terror tasks, team building games, mummy wrap race and lots more today.
Thank you to all of the staff and students who made the effort to dress up and join in with the planned activities - everyone had so much fun!

Litter picking for is one of our most popular voluntary activities for the award. We have lots of students working towards their Bronze and Silver awards this year. There will be lots of DofE updates throughout the year as it was loved so much by everyone last year.

A day in the life of a Penstone student:
1. Take Dec for a walk around the field 🐴
2. Let the chickens out, give them fresh food and water and then a quick cuddle 🐓
3. Refuel with some fresh eggs scrambled in to an omelette 🍳
4. Help to lay the clippings along our woodland path we are creating 🌳
5. Sports activities with peers ⚽️
6. Being wheeled back to the centre after a hard days work 🛞
