Chelmsford Summer Series 🤝 PFA 🚑

What. A. Weekend. 🔥

Huge crowds, incredible acts, brilliant atmosphere — and our teams right there behind the scenes keeping everyone safe.

From building and running the medical centre, to responding across the site and looking after those who needed us, this was event medical cover at full pace. 🚑💙

A massive thank you to our team who worked incredibly hard across the weekend — and to Chelmsford Summer Series for having us along for the ride.

Big events. Big crowds. One seriously good weekend.

Until next time, Chelmsford 👋🔥

♥️ lovely people 🚑💙 thank you again x

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of sharing our office space with the team from Patient Focused Ambulance after the devastating fire that affected local businesses nearby.
With three desks going spare, it felt only right to offer them up to a team who needed somewhere to work, and we were more than happy to help. It was genuinely a pleasure having them with us over the past three or four weeks and, more importantly, a pleasure to meet such a lovely group of people.

They have now moved on, but very kindly left us the most thoughtful card and gifts. These were absolutely not expected or needed, but we are incredibly grateful for their kindness and generosity. ❤️

Thank you for allowing us to do our little bit to help during what was undoubtedly a difficult time. We wish you all the very best for the future and hope you know that our doors are always open. You’ll always be more than welcome here! 🚑💙

Wishing you all the very best, and thank you for everything you do. ✨

So much has changed over the last 12 days… but one thing hasn’t.

Our crews are still out every day doing what they do best – caring for patients, supporting communities and representing PFA with professionalism and compassion.

Behind the scenes, things still look very different. But when an ambulance arrives, our patients deserve the same service they’ve always received, and that’s exactly what our team continues to deliver.

We couldn’t be prouder of them.

Thank you Team PFA! 💙🚑

One week ago today, our world was turned upside down

Since then, we’ve worked from wherever we could. Garden tables, borrowed corners, laptops balanced on anything we could find… all while making sure Patient Focused Ambulance Service kept moving.

This week, another local business did something incredibly kind. They gave up their own office so that we had somewhere to work.

It’s easy to underestimate what that means when you’re trying to rebuild after losing your premises, but having desks, reliable internet and somewhere to sit together has made a world of difference.

To Jane & Richard (and family) at The WAV MAN thank you. Your generosity, kindness and support have helped us more than you’ll ever know.

The last week has shown us that buildings can be lost, but community can’t. Essex has wrapped its arms around us, and we’ll never forget that.

We still have a long road ahead, but one week on, we’re still here. And that’s because of people like you. 💙🚑

Day 4

Business continuity doesn’t always look like an office.

Today it’s been laptops around a garden table, notebooks balanced wherever they’ll fit, plenty of tea and biscuits, and making sure our crews can continue delivering care while we work through everything happening behind the scenes.

One thing that’s become really clear over the last few days is just how incredible our local community is. A number of local businesses have quietly opened their doors to us, lending us a table, a quiet corner, reliable Wi-Fi and somewhere we can keep things moving. Those small acts of kindness have made a huge difference.

We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to Perrywoods Garden Centre (Buckhatch), The Old Windmill Hanningfield and everyone else who’s helped us find somewhere to work while our premises remain inaccessible. Your generosity has helped us continue supporting our patients, clients and crews when we needed it most.

We’re still taking things one day at a time, but thanks to the support around us, we’re continuing to move forward.

As many of you will already be aware, our premises were affected by the devastating fire and explosion at Highlands Farm yesterday.

First and foremost, every member of the PFA family is safe and accounted for, and for that we’re incredibly grateful.

We’re still unable to fully assess the extent of the damage to our premises, vehicles and equipment, but we’re working around the clock to put plans in place and keep disruption to an absolute minimum.

Over the last 24 hours, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received. To everyone who has messaged, called, checked in on us, offered help, equipment, vehicles, premises or simply taken the time to ask if we’re okay… thank you.

The kindness, generosity and genuine care we’ve experienced has meant more to us than we can put into words. It has reminded us just how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such an incredible community, and we honestly can’t thank you enough.

We’d also like to say a heartfelt thank you to Essex Fire & Rescue, Essex Police, East of England Ambulance Service and all of the emergency services who worked tirelessly throughout such a challenging incident. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did to keep people safe.

The road ahead won’t be without its challenges, but PFA has always been about people, not just buildings or vehicles. With the support we’ve already seen, we’re confident we’ll rebuild and come back even stronger.

From everyone at PFA, thank you. Your support has meant the world to us. 🚑💙

As Day 2 of the Weeting Steam Rally comes to a close, we’d just like to say what a fantastic event it’s been so far! 🚜💚

It’s been a pleasure supporting everyone on site and seeing so many amazing exhibits, engines and smiling faces.

We’re looking forward to Day 3 tomorrow and another brilliant day with the team. If you’re heading down, come and say hello! 👋

Thank you to Weeting Rally for having us – we’ll see you all in the morning! 🚑

Lately we’ve noticed more and more event medical providers asking organisers to supply everything from gazebos and lighting through to water, food and additional infrastructure.

Our approach is a little different 👇

For most events we simply need:

📍 Space to operate
⚡ Electricity supply
đźš» Toilet access
đź“» Access to the event radio network (we bring our own internal communications systems for our teams)

Everything else is provided by us.

Treatment centres, infrastructure, equipment, clinical areas, signage, consumables, vehicles, staffing and operational setup — we arrive event ready.

No last minute shopping lists. No scrambling for extra equipment. No hidden infrastructure requirements.

Just comprehensive medical provision, ready to go 🚑💚

🎸🤠 What a weekend at

From the atmosphere of All Day Indie Fest to the incredible crowd at Country Club, it was a pleasure supporting both events with the event medical provision đźš‘

Behind every festival are the teams working quietly in the background — keeping people safe, treating those who need us, supporting welfare and helping make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the night.

Huge thank you to the organisers, crews, security teams and everyone involved.

Now onto the next one đź’š
