Improving Writtle

Our Handyman has been busy clearing areas throughout Writtle. Over the past month he has tidied the alleyway between Hunts Drive to Hunts Close, repainted the pavilion at Paradise Road and cleared the rough area at the top of Tower Road and cut back next to Tower pond. You can see what a difference it has made.

Investment in CCTV cameras at Paradise Road

Writtle Parish Council had the pleasure of visiting Chelmsford City Council's CCTV Control Centre on 13 May. The parish council has recently invested in upgrading the cameras at Paradise Road and this was a great opportunity to see them in action. The visit was extremely informative and the council was able to see the cameras and monitoring systems in operation, and to gain a better understanding of the important work undertaken by the team in helping to maintain community safety and support local policing.
