Choose your own day, your own location and your own litter-picking team - we'll provide the equipment!

Cheltenham Borough Council is asking residents, businesses and community groups to share their views on new proposals setting out how parish and town council boundaries could look across Cheltenham.

This is the next step in the community governance review, which launched in 2025. Feedback from earlier stages has helped shape these proposals.

🔧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐟é 𝐲𝐞𝐭! 🔧

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Saturday's Repair Café - it was our busiest event to date!

📊 Here's how we got on:
✨ 43 customers visited
🛠️ 61 items were brought in for repair
♻️ 41 items were successfully brought back to life
💡 6 lamps were taken home by our volunteer repairers for further investigation

It's fantastic to see so many people choosing to repair rather than replace, helping to save money, reduce waste and keep useful items out of landfill.

We're also delighted by the wonderful feedback we received from everyone who attended. Your kind words mean so much to our brilliant team of volunteers.

👏 A massive thank you to all of our volunteer repairers and helpers who generously give their time and skills to make these events possible.

The programme will run over two weeks, from 27 July to 7 August, giving local children and young people plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, make friends and have fun over the summer holidays.

These sessions are organised and funded by Charlton Kings Parish Council and are available for children and families living within the parish.

We're delighted to announce that tickets for our 2026 Youth Summer Programme will be available to book from Monday 29 June at 1pm.
