Lift Crescent View

Lift Crescent View Lift Crescent View is a primary age special school for children with a prime need of SEMH, but catering for other complex needs as well.

We are part of Lift Schools Trust ensuring there is an excellent education for every child, every day. All the children, parents, staff and governors are committed to working together to ensure that every child receives the support that they require. The curriculum is designed to support children in becoming confident and independent learners in a rapidly changing world. We want children to be exc

ited about coming to school and love learning. We want them to be motivated, tuned in and challenged. Most of all, we want children to know that success is in each and every one of them and comes as a result of their own effort. We want to bring it out. We want to give them the belief that they can improve and learn, and to be proud of their many achievements. Our school is vibrant and dynamic. We place a strong emphasis on challenging and supporting every pupil to aspire to, and achieve, success in all area of the curriculum. Inside and outside the classrooms our talented and committed team concentrates on what the children are doing and provides experiences and support to help youngsters to learn. Lessons are active, children work with each other and pupil responsibility for learning is encouraged at all times.

A note for new, prospective and current parents. Current parents will be aware that we share most information via Class Dojo. For those parents who are new or are looking at the school, consider subscribing to our You Tube Channel.
Our weekly parent updates and assemblies for the children are shared on there so that you know what is happening and what is coming up, as well as possible discussion points to have at home.
http://www.youtube.com/

For new and prospective parents, I will be recording a set of videos as an introduction to the school, as well as then sending out dates for virtual meets.
We are in the midst of many consults and places being confirmed for September 2026 so please do look out for links and information coming out to you.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Half term is almost upon us for many families across the West Midlands so we thought we'd share the 'Kids Eat Free' list for half term 2026.

If you've got any other offers, deals or ideas of days out you would like to share with other parents please do comment these below. ๐Ÿ‘‡We'd love to hear them!

Good afternoon everyone - Happy Friday and the end of term. Whilst shorter than the Autumn Terms, I think the dark, rain and cold has made this one feel just as wintery. We have however had many bright spots with the session with parents in today very much one of those. It was lovely to see many of you in school. The next parent/carer session will be Friday 27th March (date for the diary) for Easter celebration and performances.

We've had much pupil and staff illness over this term. I know that can feel unsettling and want to thank you for your support. If there was anything ongoing or requiring significant change for school staff then I would let the affected classes know. I'm hoping the lighter evenings and potential sunshine will help everyone (or perhaps the bugs will have just worked their way through!).

A big shout out to the final Big Breakfasters of the term - they were a lovely group together this morning:

Red - Charlie - Listening to adults and giving friends good advice.
Orange - Austin - Great parallel line understanding.
Yellow - Logan - Excellent effort in learning tasks.
Green - Archie - Being more confident in class and participating in activities.
Blue - Kyrel - Being a kind friend and taking responsibility in the class.
Indigo - Hayden - Fantastic choices made through the week.
Violet - Riley - Taking pride in his work and handwriting.

As it is the end of term, we also did our 100% draw (each week a child is in for 100% of their timetable their name goes into a raffle which we do at the end of each term).
The lucky winners this week were:
Harrison (Orange), Wyatt (Green) and Daniel (Indigo)

Have lovely half terms. We'll see everyone back on Monday 23rd February for the second Spring Term.

Good morning everyone - starting off week 5 of the term and we are finally into February! There were plenty of interesting discussions about whether Social Media should be banned for under 16s last week - all of our classes voted and we are sharing the results (see the parent update video).

This week we have Cooking with Josie starting back with Yellow Class. There is Swimming for Green Class.
Everyone will be participating in Time for Talk Day on Thursday. This is day that the charity 'Mind' put together to raise awareness of Mental Health. There are resources for schools as well as parents, carers and employers on their website if you are interested and would like to see more https://www.mind.org.uk/get-involved/time-to-talk-day/
