🍛 Mayor's curry night raises £1,800 for lifesaving rescue service! 🍛

The Mayor’s first charity event of the year was a great success, raising around £1,800 for the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA).

Guests at The Drill Hall on Saturday enjoyed a three-course Ceylon curry buffet from Marmalade House Cafe and Tea Rooms, live music from Gate 7 and a raffle, all supporting SARA’s project to replace and refurbish its rescue boats. SARA is entirely volunteer-run, so every pound helps keep people safe across the Severn area.

Thank you to everyone who came along and to all who helped make it happen. 💛
