Catbrook Memorial Hall

Catbrook Memorial Hall A great venue with fantastic sound and light systems in the heart of the Wye Valley. Promoting events and supporting the local community.

Available for hire and even suitable for bouncy castles! The Memorial Hall is part of a timber-framed American WW1 Military Hospital. It was transported to the village from the London area and erected on land donated by a resident in 1924. Although it has been modernised several times, it still retains the original timber framing and roof supports. The last refurbishment, which included an extension with new kitchen and toilets, was completed by volunteers in 2004.

Waste collections are earlier in the heat-be prepared!

Due to the current hot weather, our waste collection crews will be starting their rounds earlier than usual.

This change is to help protect the health and safety of our staff, who work in physically demanding conditions and are more at risk during high temperatures.

What this means for you:
• Please ensure your bins are placed out for collection the night before your scheduled day, or no later than 6:00am.
• Collections may take place earlier than you are used to, so putting bins out in advance will help avoid any missed collections.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period of hot weather.

Congratulations to the latest winners of the Catbrook 100 club!

What would you spend your winnings on if you were the lucky one next time?!

You have to be in it to win it so if you don’t have a ball in your name contact [email protected] who can help you get one!
Participants must live very locally so when people move away we have lucky balls available again. There are a couple at the moment for this reason so be quick!

All profits go to help keep the hall open. A great asset for our community and this is a painless way to help.

First Prize (£150) Ball no. 6 Justine Pullan

Second Prize (£100) Ball no. 54 Andy Spragg

Third Prize (£50) Ball no. 21 Nigel Williams

Will it be you next time?

The hall needs to warm plates!
Our oven and microwave will be fully employed so we need to borrow a means of warming plates for the dinner
Does anyone have an electric plate warmer, hostess trolley etc we could borrow for that night please? ( Picture is a commercial warmer just for attention!)
