Catbrook Memorial Hall A great venue with fantastic sound and light systems in the heart of the Wye Valley. Promoting events and supporting the local community.

Available for hire and even suitable for bouncy castles! The Hall is wheelchair accessible . The Memorial Hall is part of a timber-framed American WW1 Military Hospital. It was transported to the village from the London area and erected on land donated by a resident in 1924. Although it has been modernised several times, it still retains the original timber framing and roof supports. The last refurbishment, which included an extension with new kitchen and toilets, was completed by volunteers in 2004.

Thanks to everyone who came to the AGM last evening ( and thanks to our Chair of Trustees for the w**e!)
Its so important that everyone has their say about how the Hall is run and what facilities we have and we are all so grateful to our two committees who make it all work on a daily basis.

The Trustees look after the fabric of the building, fire regs, insurance, maintenance and so on.

Events Committee arranges private bookings for using the hall, regular classes and all the gorgeous special events from Jazz to Carols which are such fun to attend and which fund the continuing existence of the Hall . They like nothing better than a packed event!

If you would like to join either committee just send us a message. Its not arduous and you will be most welcome.

The Events group is in particular need of a minutes secretary at the moment- Can anyone help?

Pizza and pub night coming up on 13 November. James and the The horse box . Wood Fired Pizza will be serving from approx 6 Till sold out. The pub in the hall will be open from 6.30 and all are welcome. Pool table too!
Last time all the pizza was sold out so now we have a new system to try to avoid disappointment! Just text James with the following information

Beware of Pirates! What a terrific evening in Catbrook when Bois y Bryn returned to entertain us so well again ! We sang along, clapped almost in the right places, and enjoyed the bar ( thank you Mike and Rob for lubricating our voices) and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they sang their special song about the sterling work of Severn Area Rescue Association - Beachley. (The raffle was in aid of SARA too.)

One pirate lost a carrier bag containing his stylish hat but more importantly a couple of vital padlocks. Anyone finding this pirate gold treasure please let us know right away.
