Available for hire and even suitable for bouncy castles! The Hall is wheelchair accessible . The Memorial Hall is part of a timber-framed American WW1 Military Hospital. It was transported to the village from the London area and erected on land donated by a resident in 1924. Although it has been modernised several times, it still retains the original timber framing and roof supports. The last refu

rbishment, which included an extension with new kitchen and toilets, was completed by volunteers in 2004.

Drivers please be aware !
School resumes on Wednesday/Thursday this week for Monmouth Comprehensive School. Due to a change of contracts within the council, they will no longer be providing minibuses for the children in Catbrook. They will now be picked up by coach at the T-junction in Broadstone.
Children be walking from Catbrook to Broadstone and back so twice daily (around 7.20 - 7.40am and 3.35 - 3.55 pm approx.)
This route is short but unlit, with no pavements and a blind bend.

Please check your outbuildings and garages for Belle who has vanished yet again! She usually comes home dehydrated and starving so presumably gets stuck somewhere. Was wearing a tracker but………..

Many will know the Cleal family who have lived in Catbrook and Whitelye for many decades. We are sad to report the death of Ethel, late of Back Lane, Catbrook. The funeral will be at St Nicholas Trellech on 24 August at 11 am followed by Catbrook Memorial Hall. Sincere condolences to the family.
