Chepstow School was delighted to once again partner with SARA to deliver invaluable water safety workshops for our Year 7 and 8 learners. Students gained essential knowledge on how to stay safe near water, what to do in an emergency, and how to help others.

With warmer weather on the way, these sessions couldn’t be more timely, helping our students stay safe during the summer months. 🌞💧

Huge congratulations to our incredible Year 7 boys on winning the U12’s Cup Final! 🏆
They secured an impressive 2–0 victory against Raglan, with fantastic goals from Jaxon Curtis and Dexter Thacker. 🙌

🍕✨ Year 11 End of Half Term Celebration ✨🍕

Chepstow School were delighted to recognise and reward our fantastic Year 11 students to a well‑deserved Pizza Rewards Lunch to celebrate their incredible positivity and perseverance throughout their GCSE revision and exams.

Over the past weeks, staff have been running daily revision sessions, and we are so proud of the commitment shown by students who have consistently attended and given their very best. This event was a small way to recognise and reward their hard work, dedication, and resilience.

A huge thank you to Stone Rock Pizza Chepstow for providing such delicious food and helping us make this celebration extra special! 🍕

🌈 Celebrating Pride Week 2026 🌈
Last week, our school community has proudly come together to celebrate Pride Week 2026, embracing diversity, promoting inclusion, and reinforcing the importance of respect for all.

Through a series of engaging assemblies, thoughtful lessons, and meaningful discussions, students have explored themes of identity, equality and solidarity. These opportunities have encouraged reflection, built understanding, and empowered our young people to be confident in who they are while celebrating others.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and truly listened to. Pride Week has been a powerful reminder of the strength found in our diversity and the importance of standing together as a supportive community.

We are incredibly proud of our students for the maturity, empathy and enthusiasm they have shown throughout the week, continuing to embody our school values each and every day. 💛

We’re proud to have achieved the Gold Careers Wales Quality Award 🏆

The Careers Wales Quality Award supports the development of purposeful and relevant CWRE (Careers and Work-Related Experiences) across the curriculum, with learners aged 3 to 16.

The CWQA has 3 stages, each with a different focus.
To achieve the Gold Award, we were asked to demonstrate the leadership, development and impact of our CWRE provision.
