Severn Area Rescue Association - Beachley

We were called out around 4pm yesterday, to support Gloucestershire Constabulary with the search for a missing person in the Bishops Cleeve area, near Cheltenham.

Team members from SARA Beachley, Cotswolds, Wyre Forest and Tewkesbury attended and searched for several hours. Thankfully the missing person was found and a SARA team could attend to her until an ambulance arrived. We were stood down just after 9.30pm.

CALL OUT!
At around 20.15 yesterday our regular Thursday evening training was interrupted. We were tasked by HM Coastguard to support Gwent Police in an incident on the Severn Bridge. SARA lifeboat 3 was launched and was on standby next to the slipway. The incident was thankfully resolved by the police and we were stood down.
