What do people think about the new "sprucing up" at Bache station? Following various safety concerns from residents, Upton Borough Councillor Sherin Akhtar and I as Parish Councillor recently met onsite with Merseyrail and Network Rail.
They have made commitments to improve the environment at the station, including signs, repainting and further promised improvements to lighting, security checks and liaison with Morrisons.
Following these changes, we hope that passengers will feel safer - in particular on the access route from Mill Lane alongside Morrisons.
