Thank you to Christleton Parish Council Chairman Cllr Luke Henley and Parish Cllr John Beckitt for meeting me this evening and highlighting local issues.

We discussed the impact of the Local Plan and Planning Applications on Christleton; traffic, pollution and safety concerns on the A41, A51 and through the village; road markings at the hamburger roundabout; the canal towpath and much more.

Parish Councils and Councillors play a critical role in providing local services, standing up for their local area and engaging with local residents and I hope to support them in their endeavours.

The Regulation 16 - Neighbourhood Plan has gone live for public feedback on the CWAC website. Every household in the two Parishes should have received the new flyer below and it is essential you provide your support by sending your comments by 15 June 2026 5pm. Developers are already commenting and trying to remove sections of the plan to make it easier to push their plans through....
