We were thrilled to welcome a team from the University of Liverpool's outreach programme into school recently for an exciting and brain-busting event — the Dragon Quiz!🐉

Our Year 8 students stepped up to the challenge as the university team brought with them a fantastic set of fun functional skills questions designed to get pupils thinking, problem-solving, and most importantly, having a great time doing it!
It was a fantastic reminder that learning can be exciting, and that skills we build in school open doors to amazing opportunities further down the line. Events like this give our students a real taste of what university life and beyond can look like — and judging by the buzz afterwards, it left quite an impression!

A huge thank you to the University of Liverpool outreach team for coming in and making it such a memorable experience for our Year 8s. We hope to see them again soon!

Massive well done to our Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students today 👏
In just one hour, they took on the challenge of making a Lemon Meringue Pie while demonstrating two higher-level practical skills and absolutely smashed it! 🍋🥧
This group are always willing to push themselves out of their comfort zone and give things a go. They rise to challenges time and time again, showing real independence, resilience and confidence in the kitchen.
Really proud of the effort, attitude and ambition they showed today.
