Holmebrook Valley junior parkrun

Free, weekly, timed 2k parkrun for 4 to 14 year olds. Every Sunday at 9am. Please register for free before your first visit!

junior parkrun is a collection of 2k walk/jog/runs for children aged between 4 and 14. They are held in
areas of open space around the country. They are open to all, free, and are safe and easy to take part
in. If you are not a junior please come along to one of our weekly Saturday 5k parkrun events instead.

Get up and have a steady stroll or a speedy run round with us!
9am Sunday Morning - bring your barcode, trainers and a smile and youre good to go!

We would love another couple marshals to volunteer with us if possible please as well if you can help out this week! 🌳

One of our regular marshals John completed his 500th parkrun today!! Congratulations John!
Some of our other volunteers were there to celebrate with him and he'll be marshalling tomorrow so make sure you give him an extra big high 5!

We have JUST enough volunteers to go ahead on Sunday but we wont be able to pick up messages after this evening so if you can help us out then please message today or see Run Director Simon Sunday morning 👍 he'll give you a job to do!

We need atleast 2 more volunteers please this week
1 more marshal and a barcode scanner please

Would be awesome to actually have 4 more volunteers so we can have 2 barcode scanners and a funnel manager

You know what would be EVEN MORE INCREDIBLE 5 more volunteers so weve got plenty of marshals 😅
But ill take 2 by friday because then im away so need the minimum numbers by then please!

We Need atleast 4 marshals, atleast 1 barcode scanner & if possible a funnel manager
We know peoples plans change but i would also really like to selfishly enjoy a weekend off 😅 so if we can sort the roster early i would very much appreciate it this week please!

What a fantastic morning we had yesterday!

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful volunteers and to Dronfield Running Club - we really hope you enjoyed it and we got some lovely feedback thank you so much!

Well done to all you Sunday morning Superstars for Smashing out some Sunny Steps first thing ☀️ fantastic effort well done!

We do need some more marshals for next week - bank holiday is always a bit of weird one! Either really busy or really quiet but I am away next weekend so it would be great to get our roster filled nice & early in the week!

We will be announcing the details of our "beat the volunteer" week very soon too so keep a look out for that!

Another fantastic run this morning thank you SO much for joining us!

Next week we have Dronfield RC joining us for a special takeover so you know what that means!
🍬 Treats at the finish 🍬
and we know youll all give them a super welcome to our event & help out all the volunteers because you're all awesome & to say thank you can grab free sweet or chocolate treat at the end! 🥳

So yes we will be joined by lots of new volunteers next week thats exciting but we also need to say a HUGE thank you to this weeks volunteers & a shout out especially to Anna & Richard who secured all our signs properly & numbered our marshal sticks to make it easier to designate the marshal points.
Just when you think we cant get any better or more organised! We are so grateful for the teamwork & all the effort that goes in behind the scenes!

Excellent running this morning from everyone well done - 9 first timers ✨️ welcome! We hope you enjoyed our course! And 3 PBs ⭐️ great efforts!

We'll see you all again at 9am next Sunday!
