Can you spot the Kitten ? 🐱

πŸ“Ÿ Shout No. 42 of August
⏰ 21:28 – KITTEN RESCUE 🐱🌳

Our crew was mobilised to a kitten stuck approximately 20ft up a tree, in a location with difficult access.

Using ladders and safe working at height equipment, firefighters were able to reach the kitten and safely bring it back down to the ground.

A happy ending, with the kitten rescued safe and well and reunited with its owner! πŸ±πŸš’

πŸš’ High Volume Pump Make-Up Underway

After a huge firefighting operation, the make-up is now underway, with approximately 8.5km of hose deployed from multiple High Volume Pumps during the incident.

Firefighters from Chew Magna and Nailsea Firefighters are currently assisting Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service with the mammoth task of packing up the equipment as the incident begins to come to an end.

We have had crews here over the last week 24/7 ensuring water reaches the incident ground using the high volume pump where fire fighting operations were taking place.

A massive logistical operation and a great example of crews from different services working together. πŸ‘πŸš’
