If you were inspired by Kemi Badenoch's speech at the Conservative Party Conference and would like to help rebuild the Conservative Party in Chichester, we'd love to hear from you.

We need new members, new volunteers and new community champions who would like to stand as local councillors as part of that renewal.

Is it any wonder our cost of borrowing has hit a 28 year high due to Labour’s economic failure, when the Conservative Shadow Chancellor has more private-sector experience than Andy Burnham’s entire Labour cabinet combined?

Only the Conservatives have a sound, fully funded plan to cut welfare, invest in defence, and put more money in your pockets.

Andy Burnham thinks we should give out more and more money on benefits rather than defend our country. He's wrong.

All at Chichester Conservatives want to congratulate our neighbouring Member of Parliament, Andrew Griffith MP, for his appointment as Shadow Chancellor.

Andrew built his career in business before entering politics. He understands what it takes to get businesses investing, hiring and growing.

Andrew will lead the Conservatives economic unit to get Britain working again and deliver a stronger economy, changes we know will help every individual and business in Chichester.

West Sussex residents have had enough.

After more than two years of uncertainty over the future structure of local government in West Sussex this needs sorting – and fast.
Our councils should be doing their job, focussing on repairing roads, investing in schools and delivering high-quality children's and adult social care, rather than being tied up in repeated consultations and structural reviews on some "top-down" reorganisation plans which no one ever asked for.

Ideally, she should just shelve these plans entirely. But if they are determined to go ahead, it should be a single unitary authority covering the whole of West Sussex consistent with the arrangements already confirmed for neighbouring Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. That is less disruptive than smashing West Sussex into two, illogical pieces.
