💚Thank you Thursday! 💚

A huge thank you to Knights Brown for hosting a donation drive in support of Stonepillow and collecting clothing items to help our clients through the winter months.

As the weather gets colder, warm clothing, coats, sleeping bags and practical essentials can make a real difference to people facing homelessness or crisis. Donations like these help us provide comfort, dignity and support when it is needed most.

We are so grateful to the Knights Brown team for thinking of Stonepillow and for supporting vulnerable people in our local community.

It's back!

Tickets are now on sale for the Stonepillow Fashion show!
Join us for a fabulous evening of fashion for a purpose, sustainable style and the chance to shop the catwalk set against the glittering lights of Avisford Park Hotel Grand Hall.

With vintage and pre-loved clothing to buy, specially curated homeware and gifts for sale, there's plenty of fun for you and your friends.

We've frozen the cost at last year's ticket price, and it includes a welcome drink and canapés.

Today is World Homeless Day (Saturday 10 Sept), raising awareness of homelessness across the world. But it's difficult to know how to help on such a huge scale.

Even nationally the numbers are difficult to take in - 4973 people sleeping rough on a single night in 2025 and over 135,000 households trying to get by in temporary accommodation.

It's at the local level that it becomes easier to grasp - although the numbers are still high. Official figures for last year found 274 people in Arun and 467 people in Chichester were homeless. And we know the official figures don't tell the full story.

In 2025/26 we supported 967 individuals who came to our day hubs, were housed in our hostels and supported accommodation, or needed our specialist services.

Every single one of those 967 individuals is a real person struggling in our community. Every single one has the right to a safe, stable place to live. Every single one needs trauma-informed, individual support to rebuild their lives.

It's just over a week until they run the Chichester half marathon to raise money for Stonepillow, and they've been training hard.

They're going above and beyond so that others can receive the lifechanging support they've had.

It's going to be a hard run - the route takes them through Chichester and up over the Trundle. If you can, please sponsor them and/or leave your messages of support below - it'll make a huge difference when they're facing that incline!

Introducing Lewis and Shaun, two of our amazing clients representing in the Chichester Half Marathon this October.

Both Lewis and Shaun live at Sands, our recovery accommodation, and have found running to be a brilliant way to find purpose and stay healthy. They're busy training every day and have already done some impressive distances.

Growing up, Shaun always wanted to give back to his community, but life turned out differently. "I'm now 2.5 months sober. Stonepillow supported me through some of my toughest times—both when I was expecting my daughter and during my recent journey to sobriety. Running the Chichester Half Marathon is my way of giving back to the incredible charity that helped me get my life back on track."

Lewis moved into Stonepillow accommodation in May this year. "Stonepillow and Sands gave me a second chance—helping me rebuild my confidence and find out who I truly am. I owe so much to the staff for their endless patience and 24/7 support. Running this half marathon alongside my fellow recovery peers is a small way to show my gratitude and raise funds so Stonepillow can keep changing lives. Please donate if you can!"
